STOW — Planning Board continues major applications, defers annual reports. The Board heard a presentation on a three-story mixed-use building at 0 Samuel Prescott Drive featuring approximately 1,500 square feet of office/retail space and two two-bedroom apartments, continued to February 24th after flagging concerns about parking capacity, emergency egress, mechanical equipment placement, and landscape buffer reduction near residential property. An auto service and tire repair shop special permit at 124 Great Road was continued to February 10th with a January 27th deadline for applicant submission of peer review responses and required plans.

Planning Director Valerie Oorthuys reported completion of a Rural Development Grant for the Comprehensive Plan, returning just over $63,000 to the general fund from approximately $235,000 in total project costs.
