Select Board · Meeting of October 27, 2026
Stow's Select Board heard a first presentation on a Gates Lane comprehensive permit housing project and set November 10 to settle its letter to the state. Lynn Sweet, the project's Chapter 40B consultant, said 25 percent of the units, currently 23, would be affordable, priced at $318,400 for a three-bedroom. The plan includes 82 detached homes and four duplex buildings, three shared septic systems and private wells.
The state comment period ends November 12, and written comments go to the board by email. Chair John "JT" Toole recused himself because he sits on the Zoning Board of Appeals. The board also voted 4-0 to appoint Alex Erines and Sharon Kautz to town commissions and to invite Honey Pot Hill Orchards to the November 10 meeting.
