Stow's Select Board ordered a letter demanding Honeypot Orchards comply with a 2025 traffic safety agreement after officers reported being confronted and roads improperly closed during an October 3 incident. Police Chief Mike Solisi said a civilian traffic constable was screamed at for roughly 20 minutes, and that an unauthorized closure of Gleasondale Road, an emergency access route, created a safety hazard. Town Administrator Denise said "it's putting our officers at risk" and pushed for raising required police details from two to four officers per weekend.
Chair John "JT" Toole called it "very frustrating and unsafe" that police still lack a promised shared radio frequency, and said he was "disheartened that we even had to be sitting here discussing this again." The board scheduled a follow-up meeting for January 12, 2027, and separately set a Special Town Meeting for January 25, 2027, driven largely by an estimated $1 million PFAS remediation project at the former fire station site.
