The Town of Stow announced Oct. 22 that its contractor, Massachusetts Broken Stone Company, is scheduled to pave Taylor Road and Evelyn Road on Friday, Oct. 23, starting around 9 a.m.
Work will begin on Taylor Road between Adams Drive and No Name Road. During paving, motorists are advised to avoid the area because detours will be in place. Residents will still be able to reach their driveways, but the town said they should expect delays while paving equipment works near their homes.
The update is the latest in a series of notices this year on the town's roadway improvement project, which has also included reclamation and paving work on Taylor Road, Apple Blossom Lane, Treaty Elm Lane, Hudson Road and Boxboro Road.
The town thanked residents for their patience as the work continues. Questions can be directed to the Department of Public Works at 978-897-8071 or by email at [email protected].
