Nashoba Regional School Committee Approves $79.2 Million FY27 Operating Budget Unanimously

STOW — March 11, 2026 — Nashoba Regional School Committee unanimously approves $79.2 million FY27 operating budget. The committee voted without dissent at its March 11 meeting to adopt the $79,156,135 fiscal year 2027 operating budget for the Nashoba Regional School District, with Assistant Superintendent Ross telling the committee the plan "continues the work of our strategic plan and moving our district forward." The committee also heard that the district's food services RFP has been posted through the state procurement process, with a contract expected for committee review in April or May. Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Learning Laura Frank previewed a March 27 districtwide professional learning day on artificial intelligence, emphasizing that the day is "centered on student thinking and how AI can support student thinking and student learning and not replace" it. The committee set a first reading of seven MASC policy recommendations for April 8 and confirmed a superintendent evaluation calendar running from late March through June 27.
