Stow Youth Baseball urges community members to sign up as Bingo volunteers to protect its primary fundraiser and keep registration costs down.

STOW -- Stow Youth Baseball (SYB) is appealing to the community for Bingo volunteers, warning that the program's signature fundraiser could be cancelled without additional help.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Stow Youth Baseball posted a prominent notice on its website this week asking families and community members to step up. "This is our major fundraiser and if we don't have volunteers then bingo will have to be cancelled and cause us to increase registration prices," the organization stated. SYB added that Bingo proceeds also help maintain its fields. Volunteer sign-up links for both Bingo and concession stand shifts are available on the SYB website. No game results or standings were reported for the period.
