STOW --
YOUTH LEAGUES -- Stow Youth Baseball (SYB) issued a call for volunteers for its Bingo program, which the organization describes as its major fundraiser. A notice on the SYB website states: "WE NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR BINGO PLEASE! This is our major fundraiser and if we don't have volunteers then bingo will have to be cancelled and cause us to increase registration prices." The organization is also seeking volunteers for concession opportunities. SYB directed interested residents to volunteer sign-up links on its site, Stowyouthbaseball.org, and noted that sponsorship opportunities for its varsity, youth league and travel team programs remain open. Stow High School Athletics Department scheduling information is also linked from the SYB site for families tracking game times.
No Stow High School games were listed in the ArbiterLive schedule for this period, and no other youth league, town recreation, or community sports updates were available from the sources reviewed this week.
Compiled from team and league reports, reader submissions, and local coverage.
