Stow Youth Baseball opens Fall Ball registration and calls for bingo volunteers to keep fees down.

STOW -- Local sports news was light for the week of July 6-12, with the only reported activity coming from Stow Youth Baseball (SYB).

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Stow Youth Baseball announced that Fall Ball registration is open for players ages 6-18, with the league accepting both individual players and full teams. SYB also issued an appeal for volunteers for its bingo fundraiser, calling it "our major fundraiser" and warning that without enough volunteers, bingo "will have to be cancelled," which the league said would force registration price increases to maintain SYB's fields. The organization separately said it is seeking volunteers for concession-stand opportunities.

No Stow High School athletic contests were reported for the period, according to ArbiterLive scheduling data.
