Stow Zoning Board continues hearing on Lions Club food truck. The Stow Lions Club, represented by Gordon Schaubhut, appealed the Building Commissioner's cease-and-desist order to operate a food truck on property in the Residential District, where the use is not permitted. Nick Messinese, club president, noted the charitable organization has operated since the 1960s and previously hosted food trucks on the site in the 1970s and 1980s.
Michael Slagle, Land Use Planner, clarified that food trucks are allowed only in the Lower Village Business District and that charities are not exempt from zoning bylaws. The board continued the hearing to August 3, 2026.
