Stow Traffic Safety Advisory Committee elects Chief Barry Evers chair. At the June 16 meeting, the committee voted unanimously to elect Evers, following nomination by Chief Michael Sallese and a second from Planning Director Valerie Oorthuys. The committee also advanced several traffic initiatives: radar enforcement on Maple Street, which has logged nine deployment days in six days, will continue with speed boards; a Packard Road traffic-data study yielded insufficient evidence to pursue a truck restriction and will be redeployed in September; and the Johnston Way crosswalk project, now funded, will receive an updated engineering proposal from GCG through Public Works Director Dan Rowley.
