The Local Access Channel Advisory Committee unanimously backed the FY27 spending plan, maintaining three positions and absorbing a Castus fee increase for captioning and streaming. Executive Director Jonathan Daisy is recruiting a new Access Coordinator after a departure.
Committee members noted that equipment reductions are temporary and future computer upgrades will likely be needed to support artificial intelligence tools used in video editing; no scholarship or Shakespeare event funding is included in the plan.
