Stow Town Building Shifts to Lower-Level Entrance Amid Walkway Construction
Walkway construction at the Stow Town Building has forced a temporary change to how residents enter Town Hall, with the town directing visitors to use the lower-level entrance while the project is underway.

The town's website is directing residents to the Town Building's lower-level entrance while crews carry out walkway construction outside the main doors, according to a notice posted on the town's homepage. No end date for the work was listed.
The town also posted its August 2026 Municipal Message, a monthly newsletter update from Town Hall, and issued an update on the 2026 Roadway Improvement Project dated August 14. Separately, the town's planned traffic signal construction at Hudson Road and Great Road, a story the town's News Flash has covered in recent days, remains set to begin the week of August 17.

The Community Preservation Committee meets Monday, August 17. Town offices will close from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, when both the Planning Board and the Conservation Commission are also scheduled to meet.
