Stow to Begin Hudson Road, Great Road Signal Construction Aug. 17

STOW — Construction of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Hudson Road and Great Road is set to begin the week of August 17, the town announced, part of a stretch of infrastructure work moving forward around Stow this week.

The Hudson Road and Great Road signalization project will start construction the week of August 17, according to the town's News Flash. No detour or lane-closure specifics were included in the announcement.

Separately, the town posted an update on the 2026 Roadway Improvement Project dated August 14, though no specific road segments or a completion timeline were detailed in the posting. At Town Hall itself, walkway construction has begun at the Town Building's main entrance; residents and visitors are being directed to use the lower-level entrance in the meantime. The town also released its August 2026 Municipal Message newsletter this week. Stow remains under a Level 2 Significant Drought designation, per the town's alert center.
