Stow Sidewalk Work Advances as Critical Drought Status Persists
STOW — Stow continues to operate under a Level 3 Critical Drought declaration, the most urgent designation short of emergency status, as town officials urge residents to curb water use while a Crescent Street sidewalk project moves forward this week.

The town's Level 3 Critical Drought designation remains in effect, according to the alert posted on the town's official website. Residents are directed to the town's Drought Information webpage for current guidance on water restrictions and conservation measures.
Construction of new sidewalks on Crescent Street began Thursday, July 2, as part of an ongoing infrastructure project, per the town's construction notice. The town has not indicated when the work is expected to wrap up.

COMING UP
The Finance Committee, Select Board, and Planning Board are all scheduled to meet Tuesday, July 14, at Town Hall. The Planning Board has an additional meeting set for Tuesday, July 21.
