Stow home sale tops $1.2 million as August deed activity splits between market sales and family trust transfers
Fifteen property transfers were recorded in Stow between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, with seven of the fifteen listing a disclosed sale price ranging from $300,000 to $1,230,000 and a median of $391,000. The month's top sale was 21 Sylvan Dr. at $1,230,000, followed by 48 Orchard Dr. Unit 50 at $800,000. Three units at 34 Meeting House Lane changed hands within the period. Seven of the fifteen filings involved the same family name as both seller and buyer, typically a transfer into a personal trust, none of which disclosed a price; among the remaining arm's-length-style transfers, most did report a sale amount.
