Select Board approves July 1 reappointments and advances two summer events.

Select Board · Meeting of June 9, 2026

Stow Select Board unanimously approves 18 summer reappointments across four motions. Chair John "JT" Toole and members Hector Constantzos, Ingeborg Hegemann, Brian Patuto, and Dan Petersen voted unanimously by roll call on one-, two-, three-, and five-year terms effective July 1, after confirming all candidates signed the Board and Committee Code of Conduct. DPW Director Dan Rowley reported the 2026 roadway improvement project received the lowest bid at $533,608.50 from Mass Broken Stone, well under the internal estimate of $985,000, covering Hudson Road, Boxborough Road, Taylor Road, Common Road pending review, and three previously funded roads under Chapter 90.

Two community events advanced toward final June 23 approval: Caterina Romano's Gold Award Mural Community Painting Day on July 18 and Laura Greenough's Recreation Summer Festival on July 3, both with preliminary feedback from the Board.
