STOW — Select Board unanimously appoints Assistant Town Administrator. Town Administrator Denise M. Dembkoski recommended Tina McAndrew for permanent appointment to the role she has held on an interim basis since October, citing her professionalism and independent judgment during winter emergencies.
The Board also reappointed Joseph Jacobs as Veterans Service Officer. In her annual Financial State of the Town presentation, Dembkoski reported certified free cash of $2,075,156 and combined reserves of 10.94 percent of budget. The recommended FY27 budget is approximately $39,167,000, a $1.5 million increase; health insurance premiums will rise 8.48 percent.
The Board granted permits for the 17th Annual Stow Town Cleanup on April 25-26 and unanimously approved the Middlesex Police Mutual Aid Agreement.
