STOW — Randall Library Trustees set May 8 reopening with donor preview May 7 and children's event May 15. The board unanimously approved the dates pending completion of ten to twelve remaining punch-list items and certificate of occupancy, with contingent alternate dates of May 14, 15, and 16. Chair Morgan Hillman also reported that staff have removed approximately 4,500 outdated or unused collection items and scanned remaining books into a database for Minuteman Network integration.
The trustees unanimously approved new hours of operation beginning at opening, including Monday through Friday service and Saturday mornings, with closures on summer Saturdays and holiday weekends to provide extended staff time off.
