STOW — Planning Board denies 38 Hiley Brook special permit modification. The board voted unanimously against the modification request after finding the applicant provided multiple inconsistent justifications for removing a protective buffer condition. Chair Lori Clark emphasized the original intent of the buffer in the board's decision.
The Planning Board also continued two major hearings: the Hemenway Farm Definitive Subdivision to August 4 and the Masters Academy International Special Permit to July 21, pending further applicant submissions and peer review responses. Planning Director Valerie Oorthuys reported the Select Board directed a comprehensive Common Road study before the Town Center Transportation Improvement Project proceeds.
