STOW — Planning Board appoints associate members and continues hearings on two major developments. Deb Woods and Allison Alter were unanimously appointed as Voting and Non-Voting Associate Members, respectively, for one-year terms ending June 30, 2027, in a Board review of letters of interest from both candidates. The Board continued the public hearing on Hemenway Farm Definitive Subdivision and Planned Conservation Development Special Permit to July 14 at 7:15 p.m., with applicant Mark White of Bentley Building Corp. reporting that plant and tree lists have been submitted and water testing is underway.

The critical unresolved issue is whether the Stow Conservation Commission will hold the Conservation Restriction on open space land, now under review by Town Counsel; White stated that if the Conservation Commission declines, he would likely return to a conventional subdivision from the planned conservation development.
