STOW — The Stow Historical Commission unanimously withdrew its CPA funding request for West School preservation. Members cited the need to resolve Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility requirements, which could include installing ramps, widening doors, and potentially adding a second entrance to the historic building. Commission Chair Dot Spaulding and member Barbara Clancy said the group will consult with town counsel and an architect on design and cost before proceeding with the warrant article for roof and masonry work.
