STOW — Finance Committee unanimously approves $9,000 police reserve fund transfer for sergeant assessment. Town Administrator Denise Dembkoski reported FY27 capital spending of approximately $2.499 million, funded by $2.075 million in certified free cash earmarked for stabilization, OPEB, and snow and ice recovery. The committee reviewed a draft warrant containing 37 articles and learned that FY28 through FY31 are expected to be financially challenging due to large planned projects including roof replacement, culvert work, fire tanker purchase, and police expansion.
Dembkoski indicated the next Finance Committee meeting is April 1, with a public hearing on April 15 and warrant finalization required by April 16.
