Stow CPA Committee reviews $400,000 wetland project. Conservation Director Jacquie Goring presented a Notice of Interest funding request for the Stow Acres Wetland Replication, proposing $400,000 in CPA funds for public access boardwalks and trails while an In-Lieu of Fee grant funds actual wetland restoration. Committee members questioned water management, cost accounting, and site conditions; Goring said the hydrological engineering firm Fuss and O'Neill is handling technical aspects.
The Committee also reviewed draft bylaw changes adding staggered three-year membership terms and discussed revisions to the CPA Plan for a September 21st public hearing. A public map display during early voting and commemorative magnets are planned for the CPA's 25th anniversary.
