Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of April 6, 2026
Stow Community Preservation Committee moves West School restoration toward Town Meeting. The Committee approved presentation materials for the project after discussion of a 25 percent contingency, which Mike Busch characterized as standard for historical building projects. Maureen Crawford and Barbara Clancy reported that the Capital Committee voted to recommend the warrant article to Town Meeting after Barbara Clancy clarified that period-appropriate 1800s materials are not required for the restoration.
The Committee also approved articles for the May Stow Newsletter and reviewed WebGIS mapping for the 25th anniversary of the Community Preservation Act.
