Commission Approves $1M Rock Bottom Farm CPA Capital Request

Stow Conservation Commission approves $1M CPA capital request for Rock Bottom Farm conservation. The Commission unanimously approved its Fiscal Year 2027 operating budget with a $1 million capital request in Community Preservation Act funds for a potential Rock Bottom Farm conservation restriction. Director Jacquie Goring reported the request was submitted December 30th.

The panel also unanimously approved a conservation land restoration plan for 7 Sylvan Drive and authorized Goring to contact the state Department of Environmental Protection regarding the Commission's authority over emergency stormwater discharges following a December 18, 2023 flooding incident complaint.
