Stow Zoning Board approves expansion permit for 142 Red Acre Road garage. The board voted unanimously to grant Brian Joseph and Angela Joseph a Special Permit to add a garage, office, family room, and sunroom into side yard setbacks, with the structure positioned approximately 6.5 feet from an easement on adjoining Stow Municipal Affordable Housing Trust land. Michael Kopczynski, Chair of SMAHT, raised no objection and requested the easement be added to the site plan.
Joseph cited landscape preservation, septic protection, and structural separation as placement reasons, building on a 2017 Special Permit for the pre-existing non-conforming lot. The Board unanimously approved the draft Special Permit Decision as amended.
