Board approves Clause 56 tax exemption article for town meeting

Stow assessors unanimously approve Clause 56 tax exemption renewal for town meeting. The Board, led by Chair Cindy Cummings with members Thomas Ryan and Leonard Golder, also unanimously approved invoices totaling $2,490 and motor vehicle excise commitments of $125,805.97. Abatement reports showed $40 in boat excise and $755.33 in motor vehicle excise abated in February and March.
Principal Assessor Kristen Fox reported ongoing efforts with the town's Information Technology department to resolve pending GIS support concerns.
